The Knights of Columbus of Santa Maria Parish is a fraternal group of over 40 Catholic men who strive together for growth in the knowledge and love of their faith, connected to an international brotherhood supporting those in need around the world.
Currently, members of all ages and life experiences are actively involved in charitable giving and volunteering in our parish and in the broader Catholic community. The Council is particularly hoping to help ensure strong catechesis of our parish children and the evangelization and retention of our young men and women. The Knights offer fellowship, advice, and a strong corner of support for young families. -
Annual Events
A keynote event for the parish Youth Ministry fundraising, the Knights have organized and hosted this event for several years now - consistently raising thousands of dollars to help subsidize costs for our programs for 6th-12th graders.
Parish Crab Feed
The Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament has run since 2016, with a break for the pandemic. Held each year at the Moraga Country Club or the Rossmoor courses, this event is great fun for the brothers, young men and women of our parish, and wives and friends. The event always concludes with generous imbibement and sumptuous fare at the awards ceremony!

The Knights always host our parish Oktoberfest, a fun, festive, and hearty event meant to bring the whole parish together for a joyful time.
Parish Oktoberfest
Each year, empty boxes are distributed to parishioners who fill them up with nonperishables and a gift card for a turkey or roast and return them at the next week's Masses. The Knights recruit volunteers to deliver them all to families at St. Peter Martyr parish in Pittsburg for those families who appreciate the boost to their holiday table.

Parishioners are encouraged to make a donation to help save lives at the annual Good Friday Blood Drive. It's a unique way to mark this solemn day's celebration - in remembering the blood Christ shed to save us, we can in our own small way share of our own blood for the good of others.
