C1 and C2: Sign up for your Spring Retreat!
Everyone in both C1 and C2 must pick ONE retreat to go to this year (you can go to both, but you can't go to none!):

We're ALWAYS gearing up for another great session! Here are the upcoming topics and assignments for C1 and C2.C1 - Cross: Why did Jesus die?
5:00-7:45pm
Church -> Youth Room
Think: What's the big deal about the cross?
Prepare: Ask your family what the cross of Christ means.
C2 - Relationships: How are we connected?
3:15-6:00pm
Youth Room -> Church
Think : Who are the most important relationships in your life with?
Prepare: Write down your top 3 go-to problem solvers.
Read: Prov 13:20, Heb 10:24-25, Ex 20:12

Remember - each year, you're allowed no more than two absences from our Confirmation Sundays. Your commitment to this process is your responsibility, and we'll be here to support you the whole time! -
Nom nom nom - can you help feed our hungry teens?
We are so grateful to be able to serve our C1 teens dinner as part of our sessions, and our C2 teens snacks!
If you're a YM parent and are looking for a way to volunteer this year, providing, serving, and cleaning up after dinner for our C1 teens or snacks for our C2 teens is a great way to get involved!
C1 Dinner: Sign up here to share the love with burritos, egg rolls, pasta, and sandwiches for our hungry teens and leaders.
C2 Snacks: Sign up here for the snack attack with empanadas, popcorn, cheese sticks, or sandwich bites for our hungry teens and leaders. -
HELP WANTED: You (and your dog) are being called to serve!
Remember when you got Confirmed (like 3 months ago) and Megan said you should stay involved?Build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, gain a source for a letter of recommendation, and gather experiences for college resumes by helping out with Youth Ministry!

Parents - do you want to do something for your OWN faith journey? Try Parent Bible Study!
Your kid is taking a deep dive into their faith while participating in our programs - why not take the opportunity to do the same in your own life?
On Thursday mornings at 11am, a group of parents meets behind the school building at a little picnic table for Parent Bible Study!
We're currently slowly working our way through the entire Bible in this Bible-in-a-Year plan - so it's easy to drop in once a month or so!

What is a "Youth Mass"!?
On every Sunday that our High Schoolers have a Confirmation session, our parish celebrates a Youth Mass at the 5pm Sunday Mass! (On the other weeks, it's just a "normal Mass.")
But what does that mean?!
It means our teens will. be actively involved in the ministry at this Mass - you'll see more of them participating in the congregation, sharing the Word of God as lectors, welcoming our community as greeters and ushers, and even distributing Holy Communion as Eucharistic Ministers, once they've been Confirmed!
Everyone is welcome to join us - just make sure to leave room in the front pews for our Confirmation teens, who sit together up there! -
Extra Involvement Opportunities (Confirmation Make-Ups)Everyone is invited to these extra involvement opportunities - and each also counts as a Confirmation make-up if you follow the instructions (if any) at the end of each listing! Parents, please be aware - on rare occasions, some events are age-specific, so read carefully and use your best judgment in attending.
NB: You're allowed to miss no more than two Confirmation sessions per year!
MSYG Leadership
Wednesdays | 7:00-8:30pm
Youth Room
Come help get our Middle Schoolers psyched about our faith! Help with skits, discussions, crafts, activities, and more - work with Megan to plan something great for the youth that you're into, too.
For a make-up - contact Megan with enough time to plan something you'll be leading at Youth Group, then join our gathering!
Teach K-5 Faith Formation
Wednesdays | 1:45 - 3:00pm
Sundays | 9:30 - 10:30am
Santa Maria
Help a catechist instruct our younger Catholics in their faith formation and help them walk closer with Jesus! Almost every Monday (excepting holidays and vacations), our K-5th graders gather at the parish for Faith Formation classes.
Help make their classes more fun and be a great role model!
For a make-up - email Theresa Gonzales to get connected with a catechist who needs some help that upcoming Monday. Teach about 20 minutes with that catechist supporting you on their topic of the day.
